Bravo: We're as good as anyone here

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Vice-captain Dwayne Bravo believes familiar conditions and an abundance of all-rounders make West Indies as good as any other top team chasing World Cup glory. The class of 2011 is a pale shadow of the West Indian side that won the first two World Cups but Bravo insisted they stood a good chance this time around.“The conditions are similar as compared to what we have back in West Indies. I think that is the advantage we have,” Bravo said.“We have also got (several) all-rounders in our team. I think this is going to be very important in the sub-continent where all-round abilities will be playing a big part.”West Indies begin their Group B campaign against South Africa tomorrow and according to –Bravo, even if half the all-rounders hit form, that would be enough to win any match.“We have our captain Darren Sammy, (Kieron) Pollard, myself and Chris Gayle and they are all top quality all-rounders,” he said.“I think on any given day, if two of us out of the four have a good game, West Indies will be in a good position to win.”
