Tucker quits as Southampton Rangers coach

Janeiro Tucker has resigned as coach of Southampton Rangers cricket team amid a pending disciplinary hearing.The veteran all rounder has confirmed that he has resigned from the top post."I have had enough of the criticism from fans, poor officiating and I am no longer inspired to be involved in cricket, period," he said.The top cricketer informed club management of his decision to stand down yesterday.Tucker resigned just days before he is due to appear before Bermuda Cricket Board's disciplinary committee to answer disciplinary charges stemming from a recent Premier match.It is alleged the outgoing Rangers player/coach brought Sunday's match involving Rangers and Bailey's Bay at Southampton Oval into disrepute.
