Delray Rawlins was dismissed first ball in Sussex Sharks’ four-wicket victory away to Gloucestershire in the Vitality Blast T20 today.
Rawlins, batting at No 4, was bowled by the slow left-arm of Jacob Linott, as Sussex chased Gloucester’s total of 159 for nine.
Sussex reached the required total with one over to spare, opening batsman Philip Salt top-scoring with 60.
The win lifts Sussex, who play Middlesex in their final group game tomorrow, into fourth place. They are one point ahead of fifth-place Glamorgan.
Glamorgan face sixth-place Surrey, a further point behind, today.
The top four teams will advance to the knockout stage of the competition.
