Clay Smith on the mend after suffering stroke

Clay Smith has been discharged from Lahey Hospital and Medical Centre in Boston where he had treatment for a subarachnoid haemorrhage this month.
A family source has confirmed that the former St George's Cup Match and Bermuda captain, and more recently national coach, has been released and is now continuing his recovery back home on island.
Smith was admitted to Lahey late last month after taking seriously ill.
“Sometimes you just don't know what life is going to throw your way,” he said recently from Boston.
“I want to thank God because through Him he's made it possible for me to still be here.
“I also want to thank all the people of Bermuda for showing their love, their support, and I just ask them to keep praying for me.”
