Youth leagues set to start
The Bermuda Cricket Board’s youth leagues will start on Monday with registration now open for boys and girls under 8 to under 18 interested in competing.
Matches in the youth cricket leagues will be played on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings, with training days being scheduled around those days for the individual team or club.
Kellie Smith, the BCB vice-president and development committee chairwoman, said: “Despite these unprecedented times, I am pleased that we are able to provide boys and girls an opportunity to participate in our youth leagues.
“The BCB’s goal is to inspire both girls and boys to develop a passion for cricket with the aim of one day playing at the national level.”
Interested persons can e-mail info@cricket.bm or visit www.cricketbermuda.com to register.
