Emmerson Carrington named new president of umpires association

Emmerson Carrington was elected as the new president of the Bermuda Cricket Umpires Association, replacing Oscar Andrade, who did not run for re-election at Wednesday night’s annual meeting.
Melvin Best was voted in as assistant secretary, while the other executive positions remain unchanged. Roger Dill returned as vice-president, Mark McCormach as secretary and John Pitcher Jr as treasurer.
The four committee members were all returned, Steven Caines, Linnell Williams, Walisfort Manders and Alexander Knight.
