All cricket called off on Saturday
Updated: Sep 23, 2022 06:05 PM
The Bermuda Cricket Board has cancelled all matches for tomorrow in the Athene T20 League after the passing of Hurricane Fiona.
With the matches not to be rescheduled, it means the season is over for the First Division — champions St David’s and Willow Cuts having already been assured of promotion.
However, in the Premier Division where three teams are due to be relegated, the loss of the Saturday fixtures may be more frustrating.
The matches scheduled for Sunday are set to take place as normal.
“If there are any changes within the next 24 hours, the BCB will advise all clubs accordingly,” a board spokeswoman said.
