A fierce relegation battle will conclude when the Athene T20 Premier Division comes to an exciting end across three venues on Saturday.

Only ten points (one win) separate third-place Western Stars from bottom team Warwick and with three teams dropping into the second tier next season, there will be plenty of games to keep an eye on with double-headers at three venues.

Somerset and Southampton Rangers, who are below Stars on net run-rate, will do battle at Lord’s, Cleveland face a tough task against newly crowned champions St George’s at Wellington Oval while Bailey’s Bay host Warwick at Sea Breeze Oval.

Cleveland, who are the team in form after back-to-back wins last weekend, will in then square off with Warwick at Lord’s, Somerset face Cup Match rivals St George’s at Wellington Oval with Stars pitted against Bailey’s Bay at Sea Breeze Oval.

The first games start at 10.30am with the second matches to follow at 2.30pm.

The Bermuda Cricket Board decided this week to host the final rounds of the competition in the east end of the island for logistical reasons.

T20 First Division champions St David’s and second-placed Willow Cuts were the two teams clinching the available promotion spots to the top tier for the 2023 campaign.

The final round of First Division matches were cancelled last weekend because of Hurricane Fiona.
