Natasha Scotland Courcy, chief executive officer and general counsel at Athene Life Re, is delighted to extend her company’s support of the project for another year.

“We are thrilled to support the Bermuda Cricket Board's Pee Wee Programme for the third consecutive year,” she said.

“Sponsoring this programme is a testament to our commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the game of cricket. We believe in the power of sports to inspire and educate, and this league is a perfect example of that.

“We are particularly excited to see the new initiatives being implemented this year, such as the reading programme and the innovative connection between cricket and golf.

“These additions will undoubtedly enrich the experience for the young participants and help them develop a wellrounded skill set. We look forward to watching the programme grow and seeing the positive impact it will have on the community.“

Kellie Smith, first vice-president and chair of youth development chair at the BCB, is thankful for the support of the business community.

“Thank you to our generous sponsor Athene Life Re for their ongoing support of our Pee Wee Cricket Programme,” Smith said.

“Your dedication plays a key role in nurturing young talent and fostering a sense of community. This year, we are thrilled to introduce a new literacy component—reading stories to participants to ignite their passion for both cricket and reading.

Together, we’re not just building cricket skills; we’re shaping well-rounded individuals, both on and off the field.”
