Five men and three women were arrested for outstanding warrants, according to a Police spokesman.One of the arrests was made on Tuesday evening after Police responded to a report of suspicious people in the George’s Bay Road area of Somerset.The spokesman said: “On Tuesday February 15, 2011 a total of eight individuals, five men and three women ranging in age from 18 49 years old, were arrested for outstanding warrants.“In one of those incidents Police responded to a report of suspicious individuals hanging around the George’s Bay Road, Sandys parish area at 5.25pm on Tuesday.“As a result, an 18-year-old Pembroke man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and detained. Three other young men in the area were dispersed before officers resumed patrol.”
