A Sandys man was arrested at the Somerset Cricket Club on Saturday on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply.A police spokesman said officers conducting a liquor licence check at the establishment searched two men under the Misuse of Drugs Act around 11.20pm.A 28-year-old man was found to have what appeared to be a rock-like substance.He was taken to Somerset Police Station where he was detained.That same night, a Pembroke man was arrested for possessing a “small amount” of plant-like material in his car on Blackwatch Pass.Officers and drug dogs later searched his East Park Lane home, and discovered another quarter pound of plant material.Useful website: www.bps.bm
