Police yesterday urged witnesses to Monday afternoon’s double shooting in Devonshire to come forward. The victims, two men aged 39 and 48, suffered gunshot wounds when they were shot by two men on a dark scooter as they rode a motorcycle along Palmetto Road at about 12.35pm.Following a brief pursuit, the suspects drove on to Border Lane North towards Friswells Road, before escaping; they were said to be wearing dark clothing.Police last night said the investigation is ongoing and urged witnesses or anyone with information to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 295-0011 or the confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.
