Police are reminding the public to secure their doors and windows after a series of homes were burgled.A quantity of electronic items mostly flat screen televisions and jewellery were taken on Monday.“We continue to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries by making sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time,” a Police spokesman said.“In addition, we are encouraging all residents to safely store their valuables out of sight, record serial numbers of all items, especially electronic equipment, and to take pictures of their possessions so that if they are stolen and later recovered, there is an accurate way of identifying them.”To report suspicious vehicles, activity or individuals, contact police on 295-0011.
