Firearms, ammunition and drugs seized in Devonshire
Police seized two firearms and a quantity of ammunition at a Devonshire property yesterday afternoon.Acting on intelligence, officers went to a property in Friswells Road and executed a search warrant at 2.30pm. As well as the weapons and ammunition, police also recovered a quantity of controlled drugs.A man has been taken into custody as a result of the seizures.The Bermuda Police Service continues to encourage the public to assist in making Bermuda safer by providing any information they may have that could lead to the recovery of illegal firearms or drugs.Anyone with any information regarding illegal activity is encouraged to call the Bermuda Police Service at 295-0011 or alternatively the confidential and independent Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
