A Police inspector who was hit by a car in the course of his duties on Friday remained in hospital yesterday.Insp Troy Glasgow suffered arm injuries when the vehicle was allegedly driven at him while he was dealing with a domestic incident. He needed surgery, and was described as being in a stable condition on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital yesterday.A man has been charged with committing assault in a bid to escape arrest and escaping lawful custody in connection with the incident.
