Interrogation of Jamaican man at scene of Bermudian’s murder continues

Jamaican police continue to investigate the murder of Bermudian Karen Hudson-Lewis, with one person of interest still in custody.Ms Hudson-Lewis and her driver, Everton Daley, were both fatally shot on December 30 inside her Mandeville, Manchester home.The two were said to be with another man at the house at around 8.50pm when explosions were heard.Both Ms Hudson-Lewis and Mr Daley were pronounced dead later that evening at Mandeville Regional Hospital.A spokesman for the Jamaican Constabulary Force (JCF) said yesterday that the third person who was found at the home remains in custody, and they are continuing their investigation.“We are right now getting statements and checking the validity of the statements,” the spokesman said.The JCF are also said to be awaiting the results of forensic tests on a 9mm Glock pistol, which was found near the scene of the shooting.
