Police are warning the public to keep personal items safe and secure, particularly when leaving them unattended in a public place.A police spokeswoman said: “Recently there have been reported incidents where items such as handbags and personal property were left vulnerable and stolen as a result.“We would also like to advice that when possible, riders should secure their personal belongings in the compartment under the seat of their motorcycle.”Anyone who notices suspicious activity is encouraged to contact police on 295-0011.
