Pair charged with premeditated murder of Kimwandae Walker

Two men appeared in Magistrates' Court this morning, charged with the killing ofKimwandae Walker.David Cox and Julian Washington were today charged with premeditated murder and using a firearm to commit an indictable offence, specifically premeditated murder.Neither defendant was required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard in Supreme Court.Mr Walker was shot while on the playing field at Victor Scott Primary School, on Good Friday in 2010.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded both Mr Cox and Mr Washington into custody until June 15, when the matter will return to Magistrates' Court for mention.
