Gun fired in Spanish Point

Reports of gunshots in a Spanish Point neighbourhood have led to a police appeal for witnesses.Shots were heard in the area of Seagull Lane, Pembroke shortly after 11pm on Tuesday. There were no injuries reported.According to a police spokesman, forensic evidence at the scene confirmed that a firearm had been discharged.He added: “Anyone who has seen anybody acting suspiciously in the area should contact police.”Witnesses can call police at 295-0011; the confidential Crimestoppers hotline is 800-8477.
