A teenager was yesterday charged with assaulting a caretaker and his wife while trespassing in a school.Daeshon Warner, 16, pleaded not guilty to one count of assaulting Colin Palmer and causing grievous bodily harm.He also denied a second count of causing actual bodily harm to Karenlee Palmer.Prosecutor Garrett Byrne told Magistrates’ Court that Mr Palmer, a caretaker at Somersfield Academy, found young people smoking cannabis in a school bathroom around 7.30pm on Saturday.The magistrate released the teenager on $2,000 bail with a like surety. The matter is expected to return to Magistrates’ Court in November for trial.
