Police are investigating the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in Smith’s yesterday morning.The incident is said to have happened in the area of Zuill’s Park, Wilderness Lane and Lolly’s Well around 1am.Said a Police spokesman: “The victim, a 16-year-old boy received five puncture wounds about the body.“He was taken to [King Edward VII Memorial Hospital] where he was treated for his minor injuries and released.“Police are trying to ascertain what took place, as the circumstances at this point are very unclear.”Witnesses are asked to contact DC Jones on 247-1246.
