Police are investigating a firearm incident which took place on Saturday night “in the vicinity of Woody’s Bar & Restaurant in Sandys parish.There were no reported injuries, according to police.Anyone who can assist with inquiries into this matter is encouraged to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010 or the confidential and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.Sources have informed The Royal Gazette that a man entered the bar and pointed what appeared to be a machine gun at the crowd, pulled the trigger but the gun jammed. The man then left the premises.
