A 24-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder of Lorenzo Stovell has been released on police bail.Mr Stovell, 24, of Middletown Lane, Pembroke, was murdered in a shooting outside Woody’s bar in Sandys on September 23.He was in a wheelchair after being left partially paralysed after being shot in the back and arms at Gravity nightclub in Devonshire on December 17, 2011.A man was arrested in connection with the murder the day after the incident, but yesterday a Police spokesman said: “A 24-year-old Sandys resident arrested in connection with the murder of Lorenzo Stovell has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.“Detectives continue to urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in bringing the offender(s) to justice — by contacting the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the independent and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.”
