Police are warning motorcycle riders to lock their bikes after a number of vehicles have been reported stolen in Hamilton.A Police spokesman said many of the vehicles taken were left unlocked, and several were left with the keys in the ignition.“Motorcycles and auxiliary cycles should be secured at the handlebars, as well as with a good quality supplemental lock before being left unattended for any extended period of time,” the spokesman said.“In addition, when parking a motorcycle or auxiliary cycle, avoid leaving it in a secluded area. If parking outside overnight, a well-lit and busy area is recommended.”Anyone who sees any suspicious activity or individuals near any parked vehicles are asked to report it to police on 295-0011.
