The appeal continues today for information that will assist in the investigation into the shooting incident on Khyber Heights Lane in Warwick on Tuesday.Detectives from the Serious Crime Unit have not ruled out the possibility that this latest shooting may be gang related.Two Pembroke men sustained gunshot wounds.A police spokesman said: “Initial inquiries revealed that two men from Pembroke attended the area on a motorcycle and an altercation occurred.He also thanked members of the public who provided assistance to the victims after they were injured.“A number of area residents and potential witnesses were also spoken to by police in an attempt to better ascertain the circumstances of the shootings as well as provide community reassurance,” he added.Meanwhile, anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the Khyber Heights Lane area in Warwick around the time of the shooting is urged to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
