The 20-year-old St George’s resident was fatally shot on the edge of the St George’s Golf Course minutes after midnight.The shooting took place an hour and a half after an altercation at Wellington Back Road, which investigators believed might have been connected.A police spokesman said yesterday: “Three persons have been arrested in connection with the murder, with one man detained under Section 29A of the Firearms Act for a period of up to 14 days this past Friday, in an appearance at the Supreme Court. The other two men remain in Police custody.“Police would still like to speak with any person that may have information or evidence that can assist them to bring this matter before the courts, no matter how insignificant the information may appear.“We would like to thank those members of the public that have come forward already and assisted the Police.”On Friday, the service reached out to the public seeking assistance finding Wolde Gardner in connection with the investigation, but did not elaborate on why he was being sought.
