Police probe hit-and-run collision
Police are seeking the public’s help in investigating a hit-and-run collision that caused minor injuries.A Police spokesman said yesterday that at around 2pm on Friday, officers responded to a two-vehicle collision at the junction of Court Street and Dundonald Street, in Pembroke.“It appears that a motorcycle was being ridden along Court Street and a car was being driven along the same road when the vehicles collided at the junction,” the spokesman said.“The motorcycle rider, a 27-year-old Smith’s man, sustained relatively minor injuries to his legs. The car driver apparently drove away from the scene following the collision.”The victim was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment and later released.
