A man who stole cigarettes from a Front Street store is being sought by police.The man took two cartons of Marlboro cigarettes from Onion Jack’s Trading Post around 10.30am on Wednesday.A clerk at the store was not injured. A police spokesman said the suspect, who fled the scene on a motorcycle and headed east on Front Street, appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s.He was described as brown complexioned, with no facial hair, tall, of slim build wearing a white T-shirt, light-coloured long pants, a helmet and sunglasses.Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Denise Downey on 295-0011.
