A 16-year-old girl has been arrested after a teacher and classroom assistant were assaulted at a secondary school.

The incident is alleged to have happened at the Berkeley Institute in Pembroke yesterday morning.

A police spokesman confirmed that an inquiry into the allegation had been launched.

“A 16-year-old female student has been arrested in connection with this incident and enquiries are ongoing,” the spokesman added.
