Stabbing victim airlifted off Island for treatment

A 62-year-old man is in “serious condition” according to police, after being stabbed at a Crossland Lane, Pembroke residence shortly before 5.30pm yesterday.
Police responded to a report of the attack and found the man, a Pembroke resident, lying in an unresponsive state on the steps to an apartment.
He was conveyed by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, and airlifted off the Island for treatment this morning.
