A 40-year-old man is in hospital after being stabbed, shortly after 12.30am today, at a home on Radnor Road in Hamilton Parish.

The man was taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after police found him lying on the floor in an unresponsive state.

He is currently is listed as being in stable condition on a general ward.

A 29-year-old Paget woman is said to be now assisting authorities with their investigation, but anyone with information is asked to contact police at 295-0011, or to use the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-8477.
