Man, 34, in hospital after Pembroke shooting
A 34-year-old man is in hospital after being shot.
Police were called after several gunshots were heard in the St Monica’s Road area of Pembroke.
Speaking at the scene, a Bermuda Police Service spokeswoman, Kimberley Spring, said: “Shortly after 10pm this evening, police responded to a report of several gunshots in the Saint Monica’s area.
“Upon police arrival, it was ascertained that a 34-year-old Pembroke man had been shot. He was conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he is now being treated for his injuries.”
She added that it was too early to tell if the incident was gang-related.
