Councillor Edwards stabbed

RoseAnn Edwards, a councillor on the City of Hamilton, is being treated in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after being stabbed last night.
Ms Edwards, 60, is said by friends to be recovering well in the Intensive Care Unit.
The incident, described as a domestic matter, occurred at about 10.25pm yesterday at her Angle Street residence in Hamilton.
The alleged offender was subsequently arrested.
