Police arrest three for disturbance in Paget
Police arrested three people this morning after reports of a disturbance near Ice Queen.
According to a spokesman, officers attended the Rural Hill Plaza in Paget at around 3.35am.
“Upon police arrival it appears that a group of individuals were involved in an altercation resulting in projectiles being thrown. Three persons were arrested for warrants on the scene and inquiries into incident are ongoing.”
Officers also arrested two people last night following reports of a burglary in progress in the Well Bottom area of Southampton. The spokesman said that multiple police units responded to the report, which was received at around 10pm last night.
“Two males were pursued on foot and subsequently capture and arrested,” he stated.
The spokesman said police were also investigating an incident in which a taxi parked outside of the RAA Club in St George’s was broken into. The complainant reportedly returned to his vehicle and discovered that the rear window has been smashed, with the projectile still inside.
The vehicle had been ransacked, with a Microsoft tablet and a quantity of cash removed.
Anyone with information about any of these incidents are urged to contact the Bermuda Police Service on 295-0011.
