Men brandish machete and bat in Hamilton
A man was arrested yesterday after an incident involving men wielding a baseball bat and a machete.
According to police spokesman Dwayne Caines, shortly after noon officers responded to a report of an altercation between two men outside of the Digicel Store near the junction of Queen Street and Church Street in Hamilton.
One of the suspects was reportedly brandishing a bat, while the second produced a bladed article believed to be a machete.
Despite the use of weapons, Mr Caines said that no injuries were reported.
One of the suspects was arrested shortly after the incident while police continued to search for the second man.
