Burglary at Paget Primary School
A break-in at Paget Primary over the weekend brings the tally of recent school burglaries to 12.
According to police, an unknown person or persons gained access to one of the school’s classrooms and “defaced school property” over the weekend.
Information on the specific nature of the damage — or an estimated cost for restoration — was not provided.
The incident was reported at around 8.30am on Monday.
Last month, police confirmed 11 break-ins had taken place at primary, middle and senior schools since January 16.
In some instances, cash and electronics were taken.
The schools targeted were: CedarBridge Academy, Clearwater Middle School, Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy, Elliot Primary School, Mount St Agnes Academy, Prospect Primary, Victor Scott Primary School and West Pembroke Primary School.
To date, no arrests have been made in connection with any of the incidents.
