Three men stabbed over the weekend
Three men were stabbed in two separate incidents over the weekend.
A man was arrested on Sunday night after two others were stabbed at a West End bar.
Police said the incident happened after two men became involved in an argument with two others at Woody’s Sports Bar in Sandys at about 11.30am.
The injured men, aged 47 and 45, were treated at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and later released.
A police spokesman said a 27-year-old Sandys man had been arrested in connection with the incident and remained in police custody.
A 34-year-old man earlier suffered knife wounds after a fight at the Vasco Da Gama Club on Hamilton’s Reid Street spilt out on to the sidewalk.
The injured man, from Warwick, went to hospital on his own and was treated and discharged.
The incident happened about 1.45am on Sunday morning.
Police have appealed for witnesses to both incidents
