Two arrested after shootings
Two men were arrested for attempted murder after two shootings within 20 minutes last night.
Police made the arrests after an armed containment by officers on a house in Happy Valley Road, Pembroke.
They could not confirm whether the two incidents, which led to no injuries, were connected.
The first offence happened when two men on a motorcycle shot at a home on St Mary’s Road, Warwick, at about 7.45pm. The suspects were described as black, wearing dark helmets with visors.
In the second incident, two men on a motorcycle shot at a 58-year-old man as he walked on Happy Valley Road at about 8.05pm. The intended victim ran away.
Detectives have completed a forensic examination and investigations are ongoing.
