A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fight that ended in a stabbing last night.

Police say that the suspect and a 59-year-old man were both rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after sustaining injuries.

The incident took place on Random Lane in Warwick around 6.30pm.

Police say that the man was discharged this morning before he was taken into custody.

The 59-year-old was said to be in stable condition after he sustained wounds that included a severe but non-life threatening eye injury.
