Armed robbers stole cash from a store in Pembroke yesterday.

Two men entered Champs Variety, on The Glebe Road, pointed what appeared to be a gun at the cashier and demanded money.

Police said it was unclear what the weapon was because it was covered.

The pair escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash on a red motorcycle.

No one was injured in the incident, which happened about 12.45pm. Police have appealed for witnesses.
