A 19-year-old woman arrested in connection with the stabbing of an 18-year-old Devonshire woman outside the Rum Bum Beach Bar at Horseshoe Bay has been released on police bail.

The woman sustained multiple wounds when a fight broke out in the early hours of Sunday morning, near the public restrooms. A police spokesman said an appeal continued for witnesses or persons with information or video footage of the stabbing to call the Criminal Investigation Department at 247-1744.
