Man stable after Hamilton stabbing

A man wanted in connection with a Christmas Eve stabbing outside a bar has turned himself in to police.
The 35-year-old man was knifed in the chest near Place’s Place on Hamilton’s Dundonald Street.
The injured man was said on Wednesday to be “stable” in intensive care at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The man was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery with “life-threatening” wounds after the attack, which happened about 5.30pm outside the bar on the junction of Dundonald Street and Court Street.
