Police have investigated a report of shots fired at a house - but found no evidence to confirm a weapon was used.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said officers responded yesterday after they were told several shots were fired at a home in Harlem Heights, Hamilton Parish at about 11pm on Wednesday.
He added: “A subsequent search of the location where the incident is alleged to have occurred revealed no forensic evidence to confirm the report.”
But he said: “The BPS has heightened patrols in and around Hamilton Parish to provide reassurance to residents of Harlem Heights.”
Police have appealed for witnesses.
