Created: Feb 20, 2021 08:00 AM
The Bermuda Police Service is looking to hire a digital forensics officer who can unearth clues to crimes locked in computers and mobile phones.
The high-tech crime-solver will be responsible for securing evidence discovered in seized computers, using forensic software to analyse electronic media, and presenting evidence in court as an expert witness.
The newly-created position has been advertised in The Royal Gazette.
A BPS spokesman said: “This is in keeping with continued efforts to strengthen crime detection and crime solving capabilities of the Bermuda Police Service”.
The deadline for applications is February 24.
