Threatening video comments “misplaced and unintended”, police
Updated: Apr 05, 2021 06:05 PM
The maker of video clip that appeared to threaten the public along with police officers has expressed remorse after getting contacted by the Bermuda Police Service.
A police spokesman said authorities had concluded the comments on the clip, which made the rounds on social media, were “misplaced and unintended”.
He added that British authorities had offered support to the man who voiced regret for his actions – and that the man’s relatives on the island had explained his behaviour.
The BPS was said to be “satisfied the individual does not pose a threat and there is no need for the public to be alarmed”.
