Man arrested over burglary
A man has been arrested in connection with a burglary after a foot chase by police.
A spokesman for the Bermuda Police Service said: “Shortly before 1pm on Thursday, police attended a report of a burglary in progress at a residence on Tribe Road #2, Warwick.
“Upon arrival, officers were provided a description of the suspect who had left the scene.
“Whilst still in the area, they observed a male who fitted the description of the suspect run towards Dunscombe Road. Officers identified themselves and called out to the suspect to stop.
“However, a foot chase ensued and the suspect was subsequently apprehended and arrested on suspicion of burglary.”
