A man wanted by police in connection with a shooting that left a 22-year-old man in hospital has been arrested, police said last night.

Police said Daquan “Smokey” Williams, 25, was taken into custody in the wake of a shooting at Orange Hole in St David’s last Friday.

Another man was said to be in custody on Saturday.

A police spokesman said an update on the investigation was expected today.
