Police inquiry launched after shot fired in Pembroke area

Police launched an investigation tonight after a gunshot was fired.
A police spokesman said two men on a dark-coloured motorcycle fired a single shot in the Deepdale area of Pembroke at about 7.30pm.
No injuries were reported.
The rider was said to be wearing a black jacket and the passenger was described as heavy set and wearing grey pants and a black jacket.
Anyone with information that could help the police inquiry should call 211, the main police number on 295-0011 or contact the confidential and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
The spokesman added that the public could also contact police officers they were familiar with to pass on information.
