A person has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Laje Franklin earlier this month.

A police spokesman said that the suspect was still in custody as of 11pm on Thursday.

Detective Chief Inspector Peter Stableford said: “We appeal to members of the public who may have seen a group of motorbikes leaving St George's around 11pm on Tuesday April 5 to please get in contact with us.”

The spokesman added that the two men who were arrested as part of the investigation into the murder of Che Jennings have been released on police bail.

Mr Franklin, 18, was killed near Clearwater Beach in St David’s on April 5, while Mr Jennings, 24, was fatally shot outside Warwick Workmen’s Club two days later.
