Police appeal for help in solving murder one year after shooting
An appeal has been made by the Bermuda Police Service for anyone with information about the killing of a man shot dead a year ago to come forward.
Keyoshe Robinson’s body was found on the shoreline of St George’s last May, and the BPS has called for any witnesses to contact them to help “bring closure” to his family.
Detective Sergeant Dean Martin, of the BPS Serious Crime Unit, said: “There is someone out there who knows the person or persons responsible for Mr Robinson’s death.
“We urge you to come forward and speak with us.
“You have the option of remaining anonymous by using the Crime Stoppers number.
“Please remember, that with the assistance of the public we have been able to solve a number of serious crimes or have been provided information which has allowed us to make significant progress with investigations into historical crimes.
“If you have any information on the murder of Keyoshe Robinson, please reach out to us.”
The BPS said Mr Robinson was last seen alive at about 10pm on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, in the St George’s town area.
He was reported missing at 5.10pm on Wednesday May 4, 2022, and the following day his body was discovered on the shoreline.
Mr Robinson’s body was found by the tenth hole of the St George’s Golf Club, where he had been shot and killed, the BPS said.
A BPS spokesman said: “Mr Robinson was at the time wearing grey sweatpants, a dark coloured sleeveless ‘puffy’ vest and a grey ‘hoodie’ with black rings around the sleeve cuffs underneath. He was also wearing white sneakers.
“On the first anniversary of his death, the Bermuda Police Service are appealing for any witnesses to please come forward to help us solve this crime and bring closure to the family of Mr Robinson.
“We would like to speak with anyone who may have seen or heard something, particularly, if you were at or near to the St George’s Golf Club, or in the general vicinity, around the time of the incident.
“Also, anyone knowing the movements of Keyoshe Robinson prior to this incident, is urged to contact Detective Sergeant Dean Martin on 717-2074 or 247-1739, or the confidential Crime Stoppers number 800-8477.”
